Caning

Most of you probably already know this, but I've got to go to Malaysia for 2 weeks in September. I fly out on September 4th and return the 20th. I'm going for two different sets of meetings, both of which are at beach resorts which is cool. But getting there and back, plus not seeing Liz and Johnny for 2 weeks, are going to be very tough.

While looking around on the internet today I saw this article about a Muslim woman in Malaysia who is about to be caned for drinking beer. Apparently she was busted at Cherating, which is where I'm going to be my second week there. Hopefully they won't beat a tourist for drinking a beer!

I can't help but wonder what kind of beer this Malaysia woman was drinking. Think she was drinking a Red Stripe?
