Strong like a Barbie fishing reel

A North Carolina man recently caught a state record channel catfish using his granddaughter's Barbie fishing reel. The fish weighed 21 pounds and at 32 inches long was 2 inches longer than the fishing rod! It was caught on 6 pound test line.

The little girl asked him to hold her pole while she went to the bathroom. The fish hit and he fought it for 25 minutes! Amazing!
